Neighborhood

Caleta de Fuste is one of the most popular areas of the whole Fuerteventura. Of course it is LGBTQ+ friendly. It has some of the best beaches of the Island, as well as many great restaurants and bars. At an only 4-minute walk from the Villa Vergel there is Las Salinas Golf Club for everyone that enjoys, or wants to try golf. Only 1.6 km away is Castillo beach, with one of the best views of the Ocean. If you love motorcycles and sightseeing you should definitely try Cool Runnings, you can rent yourself a motorcycle and enjoy a guided tour of Fuerteventura. There are also great bars and clubs in the area, for example Pieros Music Cafe, the best karaoke bar in Caleta de Fuste.

When you are in Fuerteventura, you have to try local gastronomy and at least some of the sports experiences. For example in Caleta de Fuste you can try scuba diving and guided snorkeling, as well as windsurfing and kitesurfing. You can also find many great restaurants nearby, some of them with traditional spanish food, and others with food from other countries. One of the best restaurants in Caleta de Fuste is an Indian restaurant called Bollywood SPICES, where you can eat some of the traditional dishes from India. If you want to try Spanish food then you should try KM Zero. Enjoy some of the best music in The Kings, or mentioned before Pieros Music Cafe. Try local seafood, and one of the most known dishes of Fuerteventura, paella at El Camarote.
